Hey all! So...its been awhile...so...where have I been? I wish I could tell you I was on a deserted island swimming with dolphins and basking in the sun, but, alas, I have just been WORKING! Working at school, working around the house, working on Frog Street stuff, and working on a few new products for YOU! All is good though and I have some good news for you too. First off, Teachers Pay Teachers is having a SALE and so am I!!!
Everything at my store is 20% off and TPT is offering 10% (use promo code: L2P9Y) which gives you a 28% discount on all purchases! It doesn't get any better than that. Click here to get to my store.
I also have a few new products to tell you about. We have been working on Main Idea in my classroom and I have added a whole group/small group lesson as well as a reading center kit to my teachers pay teachers store. Both are for sale for $2.50 each.
Main Idea Story Sacks
Each bag includes a mini story broken into four sections. There are 6 sacks/stories included in the kit. As a group, you and the kids will read through the story, sequence the story, and decide what the main idea is. The sack is self checking by looking at the bottom of the bag. SO CUTE! Check it out here-Main Idea Story Sacks
Main Idea Mini File Folder Center
This cute little center will sure get your little friends excited about main idea. It is also a teacher favorite because it is so easy to make. All you do is print, cut, glue, laminate, cut again, and place in a center such as the reading center. The mini folders are easy to use as well as self checking. This kit comes with 2 levels of directions to help you differentiate a bit. ALSO SO CUTE! Check it out here-Name the Main Idea File Folder Fun!
That's all until next time friends! I hope not to stay away so long this time.
Welcome friends! I am a 1st grade teacher with a Master' degree in teaching. I began my journey of teaching in 2006. My first island (ok, classroom) was Kindergarten, which I taught for 3 years and then...I graduated to 1st grade and have been there ever since. LOVE It!!! Years later, my "friends" (aka students) continue to amaze me everyday.
